Important Information About Legacy Software and Licenses

All users who purchased products prior to the official return of SmithsonMartin fully retain their licenses.

Legacy Software , Current Status:

Emulator FT
After more than 16 years of continuous support, Emulator FT is now officially entering Legacy status.
Existing licenses will remain valid for upgrading to Emulator 3.

Panda Software
Panda has been officially discontinued and is no longer supported.

Elephant
Elephant has been discontinued due to its dependency on the Surface Dial, a device that has been discontinued by Microsoft. A non-protected version will be released soon for unrestricted use.

Chameleon
Chameleon users may use their existing license to activate Emulator 3, at no additional cost.

Legacy licenses are not lost, they are honored, and they carry forward into the future of the Emulator ecosystem.

We will shortly leave a download link here with the software unprotected. You will be able to save the file and use it whenever you want.

The unprotected version of Elephant will be published around the middle of this week, and definitely before Friday, March 20.
Once it is available, we will post the download link here in this thread so legacy users can download and keep a copy for future use.

Hello.

I've just installed Elephant but I can't use it. When I open it it shows a full screen window with the picture of the elephant and the text "Click the screen to start Elephant v2.7". And when I click the window just disapears and that's it, it doesn't show anything else.

I'm running Win 11 Pro. Any idea about how to fix the issue? Thanks.

@jesusmalverde This is the normal behavior of the Elephant software. After clicking on the screen, the software is controlled by the Surface Dial. You need to have a Surface Dial paired with your computer. Without a Surface Dial, there is nothing you can do, other than simply viewing the software using the Escape key.
