You need to reload your original template and reimport the .chameleon file—this should fix the issue. Test it, then save it; it will be saved as a new template with the new extension. (.emu)
If you’ve already imported it and made changes you don’t want to lose, just open the imported .emu template and toggle the MIDI selector OFF, then ON again in the Events panel. and save.
Both ways are valid.

synththeory Take into consideration after install Emulator 3.0.4 that you may need to fix the Z-order of some objects, especially containers. Everything should now work in your template. Please check MIDI, and if you find any issues, let me know. Keep a copy of your original .chameleon template for a while.

However, although Chameleon Template now loads and works (opened it, as there is no 'import function' listed)

However, no buttons or faders show a midi channel or CC on the events page. The template works but the events just dont show up. Its impossible to see assigments or set new events to buttons (faders and knobs do show midi ch and values in the event page)

Hello Pablo . Somehow I am getting closer to have a fully functionable emulator. I did the steps you told us but its still not working well. Some faders now sometimes work, sometimes not. the play buttom does not work. I really believe my traktor is having problems with emulator. so I kindly ask you for your next idea how to fix this? Probably reinstall traktor?

Pablo, ....I understand that such upgrades sometimes need time to be fixed.
tonight I spend hours and the only thing I managed was to load and transform the old .chameleon template to .emu.
everything was working but the PLAY buttom! the thing is....I could have gigs next week but...hard to gig without play function. My PC crashed and I lost my chameleon installer so I kindly ask you if you could provide me an cameleon installer to use until emulator is running properly in my pc. awaiting for your response I send you kind regards. Buenos dias, WElll as you can see in the video attached the play buttom is still not working neither the keyboard function.
When I insert a page function at page seven it takes me to the page I programmed. but it does not work vice versa.

Only two things to fix. The Start function and the keyboard. Can you manage it?
Everytime when I restart my pc after installing the new versions....a empty debug.log notification appears on my screen.

Hi, the procedure is:
Load the original .chameleon template.
Save it the template will be saved with a .emu extension.
Open that .emu template.
(MIDI should work just at first open but is the safe way to complete the migration)

At this point, all your widgets should be sending MIDI. You can verify this using the Traktor monitor, you should see the MIDI signal there.
If you can see the signal but still have issues, check the mapping.
